Gudnason Wetlands
This is a class 1 wetland that is signed up to our class 1+2 wetlands program. Under the 10 year agreement, this wetland along with a few more will remain undrained and unfilled for the duration of the agreement.
Downie Buffer Project
This is a grassed buffer project SW of Wawanesa MB. This project is under a 10 year agreement for the area around the runway to stay into perennial cover to help minimize erosion and salinity.
Sampson Rotational Grazing
This project is located north of Ninette MB. A new well and watering system along with some cross fence were added to this project to keep the cattle off of the house well and to help improve the rotations in the paddocks.
Wiebe's Small Dam
This Small Dam Project is located south of Brandon, Manitoba. Completed in late summer of 2023, this project has several environmental benefits: erosion control, reduced sediment and phosphorus runoff, flood control, wildlife habitat, and groundwater recharge!
Leachman's Erosion Control
This Erosion Control Project is located near Wawanesa, Manitoba. This project was completed to prevent the loss of topsoil and to reduce sediment runoff into our rivers. Controlling gully erosion helps landowners maintain more productive and sustainable farmland over long term.
Wicken's Crossing
This Stream Crossing project is located near Belmont, Manitoba. The crossing provides a dependable travel corridor for livestock and farm equipment. Crossings can be installed at key access points on your farm to improve riparian health.
